Fees & retainers
Fees for advisory work
Informational starting fees for succession, governance, coaching, and ownership work. Formal quotes follow a complimentary introductory conversation.
Introductory conversation
A confidential 60-minute call or meeting to understand ownership, urgency, and whether we are the right advisors. No obligation to proceed.
Leadership succession advisory
Flagship engagement: readiness assessment, role design, family facilitation, and a written succession roadmap. Typical span 10–16 weeks.
Family council & charter facilitation
Design and facilitation of family council meetings plus drafting of a family charter or ownership principles document.
Next-generation readiness coaching
Six to ten one-to-one sessions with a designated successor, including practical assignments inside the firm.
Ownership transition planning
Coordination of share-transfer conversations, valuation liaison, and buy-sell clarity. Legal drafting remains with your solicitor.
Quarterly retainer
Ongoing counsel for family councils already established — agenda design, meeting facilitation, and between-meeting calls.
What shapes a fee
Scope depends on the number of family members involved, whether work happens in Wellington or on-site elsewhere in New Zealand, and how much documentation already exists. Travel outside the Wellington region is charged at cost with prior agreement. A deposit of 30% confirms the start date; the balance is invoiced in stages tied to milestones we agree in writing.
These figures are informational. We do not process payments on this website. A formal letter of engagement sets the fee, inclusions, and cancellation terms before any paid work begins.
